The main goal of this project was to combine the content from multiple websites so the client could manage everything in one backend. Phantom Freelance was hired to build out the template and structure of the WordPress site based on provided designs. The theme was built entirely custom using mainly Advanced Custom Fields but also integrating Beaver Builder for some of the layouts to make it easier for the client to update. Multiple custom post types were created to handle the Adventures, Day Trips, Lodges and Fishing Packages and each one has a set of custom ACF fields to populate content. Other custom features include: mega menu; paginating with tabs that convert to accordions on mobile; slideshow galleries; sliding itinerary content; packages sortable by category; MailChimp integration; and most notably, I created an internal tagging system for the custom post types that was used to create a robust "Find Your Trip" filtering page.
